St. Just Area
St. Just is an area of outstanding natural beauty, of great historic and scientific value and is part of the Heritage Coastline. Cape Cornwall (England's only cape) is a 10 minute walk where the views are dramatic and on a clear day the Isles of Scilly are visible. St. Just caters for all needs having a post office, numerous shops including a Co-op supermarket which is open till late each night and many places to dine. Traditionally an ancient tin mining town it is now the home of a thriving artistic community and boasts a large number of independent art galleries and studios.
St. Just boasts gloriously wild rugged scenery; the coastal path from Sennen to St. Ives on the westerly tip of Cornwall is a rare fragment of "real Cornwall". Clean air and clear light, glistening granite and dramatic weather - all have etched themselves on the character of the landscape, making it a haven for walkers, artists, writers and historians.
